If Cedarburg, Wisconsin isn’t already on your fall getaway list, I’m here to change that. We recently stayed at the cutest Cedarburg Wisconsin Airbnb, and I genuinely loved it. The house was cozy, full of personality, and in such a convenient location. Best of all, we could walk right into downtown Cedarburg. After spending a few days here, I’m convinced this little Wisconsin town deserves way more attention. Especially in the fall!!!
A Cedarburg Wisconsin Airbnb Near Downtown
The location was easily one of my favorite things about this Airbnb! Instead of getting in the car every time we wanted to explore, we could simply walk into downtown Cedarburg. Shops, restaurants, coffee, and the historic downtown area were all close by. Because of that, the entire trip felt so much more relaxed.
Plus, Cedarburg is the kind of place you want to explore on foot. Grab a coffee, wander through the shops, stop somewhere for lunch, and keep going without much of a plan. Honestly, those are always my favorite kinds of travel days!!!
The Airbnb Was So Freaking Cute
The house itself had so much personality!!
From the blue exterior and front porch with a cutie fire table, to the original-looking windows and wood floors, it actually felt like it belonged in Cedarburg. Inside, there were cute details everywhere!
For example, there was a little breakfast nook, a coffee area with cute, fun mugs, colorful furniture, and the prettiest staircase. Nothing felt overly staged or like a generic rental! Instead, it just felt homey! We also had a full kitchen and plenty of room to hang out together. So, at the end of a long day, we could come back and actually relax! That’s a huge win when we’re traveling as a family!
Why Cedarburg Is Perfect for a Wisconsin Fall Getaway
Okay, we visited Cedarburg in August. However, the ENTIRE time I kept thinking, “I need to see this place in October.” The historic houses, little downtown streets, front porches, and trees everywhere already felt cozy. Now add fall colors, chilly weather, and a coffee in my hand?
Done.
Staying within walking distance of downtown would make a fall weekend here even better. You could spend the morning slowly exploring Cedarburg and grab lunch downtown. Afterward, wander through the shops before heading back to the Airbnb to relax. Basically, no complicated itinerary is needed.
Our Favorite Places to Eat and Shop in Cedarburg
One of my favorite parts about staying within walking distance of downtown Cedarburg was being able to actually explore the town. And obviously, we did some eating along the way!
We grabbed pizza at Tomaso’s, which was SO good, and stopped at Fiddleheads Coffee when we needed coffee. For pastries, Boulangerie Du Monde was absolutely worth the stop. We also had breakfast at PJ Piper Pancake House, because a cute Wisconsin getaway obviously needs at least one good pancake breakfast.
And it wasn’t all food! We wandered through the shops downtown and loved Wild & Precious Boutique. It’s exactly the kind of little boutique I love finding while traveling, with cute clothes, accessories, and things you definitely didn’t plan on buying but somehow leave with anyway.
The Airbnb Felt Like Part of Our Trip
This is something I care about more and more when we travel! Personally, I don’t want our Airbnb to only be the place where we sleep. I want somewhere we actually enjoy coming back to, too. Thankfully, this house gave us that. We could make breakfast in the kitchen and hang out together before heading into town. There was also enough space to spread out without losing that cozy feeling. Plus, I’m a sucker for a rental with personality. I’ll take the funky dresser, old windows, colorful details, and coffee mugs hanging on the wall. Those little things make a place feel memorable. More than anything, I want where we’re staying to feel like it belongs to the destination. This Cedarburg Wisconsin Airbnb absolutely did.
Add Cedarburg to Your Fall Wisconsin Bucket List
If you’re searching for a Cedarburg Wisconsin Airbnb, staying close to downtown is absolutely the move. Being able to walk into town made our stay so easy. Instead of constantly driving or worrying about parking, we could just head out the door and explore. Then, when we were done, we had a cozy house waiting for us. I genuinely loved staying here and would absolutely come back. Next time, though? I’m voting for fall!! Cedarburg covered in fall colors, a sweater, a warm drink, and an entire weekend with nowhere important to be sounds pretty freaking perfect.
